The wolf does not speak our language, yet he knows our troubles better than we ourselves. He understands our thoughts, our fears, and our emotions. He sees our inner spirit and speaks with it as we sleep. Pray that it is a good wolf that finds you because sometimes, in the darkness, a bad wolf lurks.
The last of a forgotten native American tribe, an old Indian prays to his gods to let his spirit live on. His body is weak and feeble, scarred from great battles and pressing times of near starvation. He prays for a surrogate for his soul, a way to let the Charipou tribe continue to exist. But just beyond the flame of his fire, hidden by night, a dark wolf lurks.
Nearly 200 years later, a young college student, John Ryder, becomes obsessed with the tale of the Indian and the wolf. John’s obsession quickly turns into insanity. After joining the pack, John becomes the most efficient killer the forest has ever known. His desire to run with the wolf will eventually cost him his life, but not before losing all that he loves.
